First, it is easy to do comparative, double blind studies using homeopathy. Many have been done closely following homeopathic principles and found to be negative. Check medline. Generally, when people say something works but can't be proven to work, run the other way.
Second, since you have never been to chiropractic school you wouldn't know, but, we do receive an education in nutrition. There are classes called, "nutrition" as well as much nutrition in the basic science and diagnostic courses. We are in school for 4000 hours, there is a lot of nutrition. There are also post-grad courses three years long which can provide an additional degree called a, "Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition"
